Piston Thermal Analysis of Heavy Commercial Vehicle Diesel Engine Using Lanthanum Zirconate Thermal-Barrier Coating

چکیده

When a commercial vehicle diesel engine works for an extended period of time at the torque spot, it can easily cause mechanical failure due to high temperature piston. In this paper, plug method was used measure piston maximum spot. order reduce caused by temperature, finite element analysis software Ansys in paper study effects different thicknesses ceramic coatings on surface substrate. The bonding layer coating NiCoCrAlY with thickness 0.1 mm, and insulating La2Zr2O7 respective 0.2 0.3 0.5 0.7 0.9 mm. increased from mm 1.0 base decreased 347.9 °C 267.46 °C. This showed that use thermal-barrier effectively greatly improve safety operation.
